a) About Cows:

• Bovine Respiratory Disease Complex (BRDC): Also know as "Shipping Fever", BRDC is a general term for the pneumonia commonly seen in recently weaned calves. 

• PI3 (Parainfluenza Type 3): This common, mild respiratory disease suppresses the animal's immune system, allowing other diseases to develop. The virus is shed in nasal and eye secretions, and infects non-vaccinated animals through the mouth and nasal passages.

• BRSV (Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus): A sometimes fatal, stress-related infection which can cause mild to severe respiratory disease and reduce the animal's resistance to other diseases. Signs include coughing, high fever, and runny eyes and nose.

• IBR (Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis): Also known as "Rednose", this highly contagious virus causes respiratory disease, abortions and infertility. Signs include inflamed nasal passages, fever, rapid breathing, deep cough and loss of appetite.

• Trichomoniasis: "Trich" is a highly contagious venereal disease resulting in early embryonic death. The infection include a high percentage of open cows at pregnancy check and/or a prolonged calving period.

1. Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen: 

The Petit Basset Griffon Vendéens' name tells you a lot about this breed: they're from the Vendéen region of France; they're small; they're short and close to the earth (as are many scenthounds); and they have rough or wiry coats. What that translation doesn't tell you is that the Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen — called PBGVs by breed lovers — just might be the happiest dog on earth.

Originally from France, this medium-sized and medium-energy breed can grow to between 25-40 pounds and lives an average of 14-16 years. The breed is recognized by the American Kennel Club and classified as a member of the Hound group.

-Wild Times: I choose because the Irwins take us inside the Australia Zoo to continue Steve’s mission (his dad) to protect the world’s wildlife. From crocodiles to red pandas, Bindi, Robert and Terri tell us everything we need to know about these wonderful wild animals we love and taht's why they should see it.

-Meet the orangutans: I choose because we meet the orphaned and injured orangutans that receive care at the world's oldest orangutan sanctuary in Borneo, the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Watch as they learn everything their mothers would have taught them in the wild. And they should see it, so they can see the work that is done to rehabilitate the orangutans and so they can return to their natural habitat.

Why do you want to be a Vet?

Ever since I was a little, my dream was to be a veterinarian, I always had that idea of ​​help animals, that they could feel better, even a little. 

And I kept that idea for several years until in 2017 and 2018 I completely changed because at school I decided to study gastronomy for those two years and decided to continue with that career after I left school. But when working in the summer in a cake shop, my decision changed again, since I did not like it at all and I said: this is definitely not my thing. So, I went back to my initial decision, to study veterinary medicine. I decided to study vet because literally I do not see myself doing anything else and it's the only option I had.

So far, my experience has been very good, I loved the friends I have made so far, that has cost me a bit with the tests, but little by little i must recover. The atmosphere of the university is very pleasant, and I am very happy to be here.

In the future I would like to work with exotic animals or wild animals, as I have always seen Animal Planet and Nat Geo Wild, and it has always attracted my attention.

Animal Vídeos

1. The funny penguins.

The penguins are really cute, beautiful and while other birds have wings for flying, penguins have adapted flippers to help them swim in the water. Also most penguins live in the southern hemisphere. I choose this video because it’s my favorite animal and the video is very funny because folded video in spanish.

2. The Manaties.

The manatee is a large marine mammal with an egg-shaped head, flippers and a flat tail. Manatees are also known as sea cows. This name is apt, due to their large stature; slow, lolling nature; and propensity to be eaten by other animals. I choose this video because show the conservation of the manatíes and how they care and help.

3. The baby Rhinoceros.

The rhinoceros commonly abbreviated to rhino, is one of any five extant species of odd-toed ungulates in the family Rhinocerotidae, as well as any of the numerous extinct species therein. Two of the extant species are native to Africa and three to Southern Asia. This video show how a baby rino take your firts shower, and it’s really cute the reaction.

I was born in San Bernardo a Monday. I was the first child of my parents.

For my birthday my uncle gave me my first pet (a poodle), Martín, since this day we never separated. He is my partner in crime and literally my everything.

May 1, 2014.💘

In may i have my first concert of "One Direction", wich i was super excited because, i love the band so much. The feelings of listening and watching to them live was unique.

For the vacation me and my family went to Argentina, Bariloche, where i met beautifuls and uniques landscapes. Also we met the Patagonia in Chile, wich was something amazing and would do again.

When i was in the school, in september every 4th medium have to create a work. Was my first work and it was one of the best works in the school.

The day i had to leave school was the best because i would not have to go anymore but at the same time sad because i would stop seeing my classmate and friends, who love them very much.

My graduation was a very special day because it is a moment that is lived only once.

My favorite thing is...

My favorite thing is the camera and i have it for about 3 years. I use it mainly to take pictures, obviously also, to record and have a memory of the places i go.

I like it because photography has always been my favorite pastime, it helps me to distract myself and express myself in another perspective. I use it every time i travel, when i see something that i like to photograph or whenever i can use it.

I can not imagine a life without my camera because i could not keep the moments saved to be able to remember them, I could not be happy without doing what i like.

And the funny thing is that at first the camera was for my dad but he never use it until I started using it and I left it for me. Now I do not loose it.

Personal opinions.

1. What is your opinion about animals testing?

I think the animals testing is very bad because hurts and abuses the poors animals. Also the treatment they use for animals is not the same for the humans. 

But on the order hand, the animals testing help for know allergic reaction of medicines, beauty products...

In my opinion  they must stop with the animals testing or legalise so that can reduce the deaths and pain of animals.

2. What is your opinion about legalization of abortion in the 3 cases?

I think it was necessary approve the legalization of abortion in the 3 case,because so many women were dying since it wasn’t safe and free. Also every woman can  choose if she wants to abort or not.

In my opinion should be legalized for any cases, so that the woman decide for their own good.

3. What is your opinion about  climate change?

The climate change is very important since is currecurrently affecting us and the people do nothing to avoid it. I think that we have to star acting on this either recycling, throwing less waste, spending less water or energy, so that it not so much the demage.

In my opinion the human is the first cause of the climate change.

4. What is your opinion about buying instead of adopting pets?

I think the people must adopting pest since most are in a street situation and "regularize" that situation. In my opinion before buying go through a kennel or shelters, because seeing them there is the sad reality that happens every day. They wait for someone to adopt them and give them affection.
